Just before Christmas, my 2003 Ford Explorer finally broke down after more than 214,000 miles.
As a single mother, losing my vehicle meant so much more than losing a way to get from one place to another. It put my job, my children’s education, and our ability to celebrate Christmas at risk.
That was when SparkHope stepped in and helped me obtain a reliable, new-to-me vehicle.
Because of this incredible program, I was able to continue working and supporting my family. I could keep getting my children where they needed to be and continue prioritizing their education. I was also able to give them a Christmas during a time when our circumstances could have easily taken that joy away from us.
