Denver metro area nonprofit Hands of The Carpenter hosted its annual Breakfast of Champions on Thursday, April 10, at the Denver West Marriott, bringing together supporters, partners, and community members for a powerful morning of connection, celebration, and gratitude.

The event honored the remarkable accomplishments of 2024 and shined a spotlight on those whose partnership and dedication have made a lasting impact on Hands’ mission to support single mothers with critical transportation needs. With many distinguished guests in attendance, the morning served as a reminder of the strength and generosity that drives this work forward.

“This event was our opportunity to say thank you,” said Hands’ Founder & CEO Dan Georgopolus. “Our Champions—volunteers, businesses, faith partners, staff, and service providers—are the heart of this mission. Together, we are creating a future where reliable transportation is not a barrier for single moms striving to care for their families.”

Five special “Champion” awards were presented by Dan and Hands’ board members Beth Bales and LaChaunda Cook to outstanding individuals and organizations:
